1. Screenings and assessments involving youth clients include:
*Learning impairments. *Substance Abuse
*Mental /behavior disorders
2. Assignment of individual or group Mentors through a selection and matching process that prioritizes characteristics and interest of each Mentee.
*Mentors will receive orientation, targeted training and ongoing support and monitoring
3. Selected clients will be assessed for tailored long and short term environment change experiences (ECE) that provide:
*Exposure to other languages, culture, customs and way of life
*Educational, vocational, artistic, athletic and other specialized camp and internships experience
*Participation in Empowerment and Leadership Camps that offer life skills training; pro-social skill development and health promotion
*Community service and civic engagement opportunities.
4. Individualized Youth Empowerment and Resiliency Plans (IYERP) will be established for all clients. These agreements will encourage sustained - partnership and engagement with relatives and/ or guardians to promote positive family values and constructive social networks and relationships; - standard and specialized activities and areas of emphasis for IYERPs involve:
*Mentoring
*Tutoring
*College preparation guidance
*Behavior Counseling
*Health and fitness promotion
*Referrals based on identified needs
